Pay Range: $30.29 – $36.35 an hour, based on experience Full Range: $30.29 – $39.38 an hour Classification: Full-time, Non-exempt Application Close Date: Open until filled

Job Responsibilities:

Individual annual sales goal component to be assigned in conjunction with the annual office sales goals with emphasis on fiduciary and investment management. Consults with estate planning attorneys, accountants, wealth advisors, potential and existing clients to promote all First Western products and services.
Maintain a presence within our markets and communities through philanthropic and business board involvement, as well as networking with like-minded professionals within the industry.
Management of trust relationships, ensuring that all trust objectives are met and are consistent with governing documents, fiduciary administration principles and legal standards.
Reviews and directs disbursement of fiduciary funds according to conditions of the trust and needs of beneficiaries as well as providing oversight in partnership with the designated Portfolio Manager on fiduciary accounts, cash balances, investment allocations, tax management, and asset holdings in accordance with the trust’s Investment Policy Statement
Meets with beneficiaries and wealth management clients to review relationships, accounts, discuss their needs, analyze problems and provide relationship-based solutions.
Oversees, organizes and prepares filing of fiduciary federal and state tax returns for clients’ trusts for final approval by the Trust Officer.
Maintains current knowledge of and complies with all First Western policies and procedures.
Monitors and controls risk related to trust account administration through the ARS process, including review of administration and unique assets, completing the ARS reviews in a timely manner for approval by the appropriate trust officer.
Supports business development strategies to expand fiduciary business by assisting the Trust Officer with marketing strategies that bring new clients to the organization.
Provides leadership to profit centers by providing guidance to the team on fiduciary matters, ensuring fiduciary involved tasks are being completed, along with providing education on First Western fiduciary services.
Authorization to approve discretionary distribution requests up to $10,000 of the trust assets.
Know and comply with all Company policies set forth on the Company’s Intranet;
Review Associate Handbook and Company Policies annually, as prescribed by Human Capital;
Complete and Comply with the Companies Code of Ethics and Conflict of Interest Questionnaire and Policy Acknowledgement;
Complete all assigned training on time.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree or anticipated completion within 24 months – Preferred
5-7 years experience in Trust Relationship Management – Required
CTFA upon hire – Preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
Core knowledge of trust and tax laws, trust products, services, and operations
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Strong presentation skills
Experience working with high net-worth clients
Excellent leadership and business development skills
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
Team-oriented, detail-oriented; ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task
